Reincarnation by Computer (Mag.)
Daniel Lee is a very unique artist who mixes reality and make-belief with no limits using digital engineering. He is able to create his strange and unique art works because of modern digital technology. His free flowing ideas bring new aspects to art and are not always understood/processed by the mind at first. The picture seems real but it is actually an impossible picture and could never occur. His art all portraits super naturalism by replacing real objects in his image with make belief objects making the picture interesting; this is now possible because of the major advancements in digital engineering. His work is very interesting and attracts a lot of attention from viewers because the observer has to stop and truly think about the image to be able to understand/process it. Daniel Lee has taken advantage of the modern digital advancements and came up with a simple idea that effectively captures the interest of others.
Art for Art's sake (Mag.)
Geneveve Gauckler is a very modern artist who uses various art forms in her designs; such as videos, the web and standard print. Her works create a sense of humor and are always enjoyable because she makes sure when she works she is in a calm happy environment which gives her the best creative state of mind. She uses situations in her life as a setting for her works, and then uses the ideas that went through her head at that moment in time to humorize the scene. She does not believe in censoring her work to the public as she likes to express her current emotion in her work. It does not matter to her the content of her art and how apropriate it is, she wants to express the exact feeling she felt at the time on to a design. Her work has a sense of being stress free and always creative. Her work also introduces a type of poetry to her work.
Graphic art and the Media (Mag.)
In the modern world adverts are considered as art, for example Billboards and other sorts of advertising is carefully created following the rules of design and making the advert into a piece of art. However, Modern art now also works as advertising modern culture and popular aspects of today's world, such as comics, movies, magazines, films, events etc. Art can advertise modern things, even without the artist being aware of it. Art is formed from popular aspects of the modern society, these aspects are then transferred into the works the artists create. This starts a sort of advertising. For example, a horse of a certain type can be seen as the Ferrari logo and therefore advertise Ferrari. Now that we have all been exposed to so many companies and organizations, we can make links to them through art. There are also works were the piece is made completely out of advertising symbols and ideas, which then can be seen as a art piece which advertises.
Radical choices for optimal result (Mag.)
The Happypets designs are very creative and catch the eye as so many styles are used within a single poster. The colors attract the eye and the clear lines define the interesting shapes. Happypets have designated a very unique style in their design, with the blend of digital technology, computer art, 3D and many more. The Happypets designs have been so successful because of their radical choices. They have had no fear in exerimenting and making crazy choices that might break rules o design. They have risled the outcome of the design for the possibility of making something great and unusual. To make their designs even more unpredictable they include cultural figures into their work to make them seem somewhat personal to the area. These posters have been created in areas from Asia to Europe to the US, each area with its own cultural themes and symbols. The unique technique of Happypets allows them to always include a range of actions and they have limitless possibilities. Their designs will never get boring or old because they are so radical and anything could happen in their works.

Gallo Nero Advert + rationale

This advert is very simple yet effective. It uses all the elements of design like alignment and so on. I chose variations of two backgrounds, black and white for the advert. The text at the bottom left is in small font so the information and details are displayed but your eye attracts to the picture and the Gallo Nero logo. The picture is very simple and the wine glass and balcony reflect on a eegant restaurant in a good setting. This shows elegance power and success. The Gallo Nero logo is the final thing you see as you turn the page and you will remember this logo. The logo itself is also very good and reflects the restaurant as a success.
